coaching

Coaching is deep and personal. It’s also a goal driven process. And change? Change is enlivening.

Alignment

It’s a powerful feeling to know where you stand. As a life coach, I work to support both clarity of heart and mind, and somatic resonance. Everything organizes in that sweet spot. You feel it, people notice, and change begins.

Leadership and Life Coaching

My coaching approach is informed by the Hudson Institute of Coaching methodology and ‘life cycle’ awareness developed by coaching pioneer Frederick Hudson. Additionally, the research and curriculum of Dr. Brené Brown, Dr. Kristin Neff and Dr. Chris Germer (and so many others!) will inform our work together. Mindfulness, self-compassion, common humanity, neuro-plasticity, curiosity and resiliency optimize how we show up--at work and in life.

RUTH WILLIAMSON

I hold a PCC credential from the International Coaching Federation, trained at the Hudson Institute of Coaching. I draw deeply from the work of Dr. Brené Brown and the research that informs her Daring Way™, Rising Strong™ and Dare to Lead™ curricula.

Mindfulness and Self-Compassion--the research of Dr. Kristin Neff and Dr. Chris Germer, is foundational to my personal and professional practice. I am a trained teacher of the MSC mindfulness and self-compassion curriculum.

And the IEQ9 Enneagram Personality Assessment is a tool I offer to clients to jump-start our work together, and to add nuance to our on-going coaching conversation.

Finally, as a trained chaplain with the Upaya Zen Center, my work is deeply informed by my on-going study of Buddhist psychology and wisdom teachings.

I work individually with clients, within the workplace and in workshops and retreat.
