What is calling in your life? Is it big, or small?

Pause. Breathe deep. Listen. These are the building blocks for being brave.

We invite you to join us for impactful conversation, soulful inquiry and communion with like-minded women as we share the 7th Be Brave weekend at Islandwood, on Bainbridge Island.

We’ll eat nourishing food. We’ll walk slowly. We will teach each other with our stories. Emerge renewed and inspired.

Your costs include accommodations, meals, practice materials.

Rising Strong™ at Breitenbush

  • Breitenbush Hot Springs (map)
  • Google Calendar ICS

Breitenbush Hot Springs Resort is nestled within old growth cedar and doug fir, alongside the pristine Breitenbush river. It is a sacred site of healing hot springs and intentional living. I have found Brietenbush to be the ideal container for the inward journey of the Rising Strong™ process. Here, we pause, learn our triggers, investigate our emotional landscape, give words to our stories and write new endings from choice, aligned with our values and on-purpose.

This is deep work. It is game-changing for our lives. And doing this work in community adds an additional layer of teaching and learning that only happens in a confidential and trusting circle. Let’s do this good work together.

Dare to Lead™ at The Haven

Dare to Lead is a skill-building curriculum, based upon the research of Dr. Brene´ Brown.

Courageous leadership is optimized by four essential practices: Vulnerability, empathy, trust (in self and others) and Rising Skills.

This training is powerful. It is a privilege for me to deliver this work to leaders in all sectors in Central Oregon. While I have a passion for working with leaders in the non-profit arena, I am happy to share this work with individuals, teams or full organizations. Dare to Lead™ is a game-changer.

Dare to Lead™ at Breitenbush

Based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown, Dare to Lead™ is an empirically based courage-building program designed to be facilitated by organizational development professionals.

Brené is a research professor at the University of Houston where she holds the Huffington Foundation – Brené Brown Endowed Chair at The Graduate College of Social Work. She has spent the past two decades studying courage, vulnerability, shame, and empathy, and most recently completed a seven-year study on courageous leadership. She is the author of five #1 New York Times bestsellers: The Gifts of Imperfection, Daring Greatly, Rising Strong, Braving the Wilderness, and Dare to Lead, which also debuted at #1 on The Wall Street Journal and Publisher’s Weekly lists.

The most significant finding from Brené’s latest research is that courage is a collection of four skill sets that are teachable, measurable, and observable. The Dare to Lead™ program focuses on developing these courage-building skills through workshops, trainings and coaching to help individuals, teams and organizations move from armored leadership to daring leadership.

Individuals who successfully complete the full 16-hour Dare to Lead program will receive a certificate of completion and are allowed to put a Dare to Lead Trained badge on their LinkedIn account.
